IN MY FLAG

Working with her thoughts on black hair trauma. These are small wooden blocks with photo transfers from magazines, google images, and hair care products. The hair is styled from being installed into drilled holes of the wood.

This 6'x6.5' space was built to perform in. Anamarie was thinking about the construction of the Cuban & American flag. There are 50 curls symbolizing all 50 states, 13 stripes on the Mirror, One big star on the wall for the Cuban flag as well with it's stripes also on the wall.
